Microsoft Delays Release of Windows XP SP3 Due To Compatibility Issue

I guess, I just have to stop looking for it for awhile. Eventhough Microsoft had said last week that it completed development on Windows XP SP3 (Service Pack 3).

Verify Your Job Agency Online

BANGI: Job seekers can check the validity and authenticity of employment agencies by visiting the Human Resources Ministry's website at

There are some 1,200 agencies currently registered with the ministry.

The minister, Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam, said job seekers, to avoid being cheated, should ensure the agencies were genuine before registering and paying for job applications.

Commenting on the New Sunday Times front page report yesterday about employment agency scams, he said that under the Private Employment Agencies Act 1981, private employment agencies were only allowed to collect RM12 in registration fees.

"But after the applicant has secured a job, it will then depend on the agreement signed between the applicant, employer and agency," he said after presenting prizes to winners of the OSH Walkathon.

The event was held in conjunction with World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2008 here yesterday.

The NST reported that some agencies advertised jobs in newspapers and on the Internet, luring people with the promise of a fat salary at the end of every week.

The catch was, applicants were required to pay the agencies between RM180 and RM200 in "administration fees".

Subramaniam said those who had been cheated by employment agencies should lodge a report with the Labour Department.

"The press also can help by asking these agencies to show their licences before they advertise.

"This will ensure that only valid vacancies from credible agencies are advertised," he added. - Source

The Solution
So I got no choice, other than edit (gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf) the xorg.conf file. Of course we gotta go to the root level. LOL!

Here is the content of the my xorg.conf file (also posted here):-

# xorg.conf (X.Org X Window System server configuration file)
# This file was generated by failsafeDexconf, using
# values from the debconf database and some overrides to use vesa mode.
# You should use dexconf or another such tool for creating a "real" xorg.conf
# For example:
# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

Middle East Oil Flow May Decline

A Lehman Brothers official says power demands in the Middle East may cause a decline in oil supplies resulting in higher market prices.

"The Middle East now appears to require more hydrocarbons being devoted to power generation . . .as power needs grow," Edward Morse, Lehman's Chief energy economist, told reporters at the Lehman Brothers Commodity Round Table.

The oil supply to the international market may be reduced by 1 million barrels per day (bpd) as more oil and natural gas will be redirected toward producing electricity, Reuters quoted Morse as explaining.

When examining the oil situations of Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi or the Emirates and Kuwait, he predicts the 1 million bpd decrease to begin in May and continue through July and August.

If the region faces above-average temperatures this summer, greater consumption of electricity will lead to a tightening of the oil market and higher prices.

"There certainly should be enough crude oil, condensates and natural gas in combination to eventually catch up, and I think it is probably going to catch up in the summer of 2009," he said.

Lehman anticipates the average price of a barrel of oil to be $85, $105 and $80 for the 2nd, 3rd and the 4th quarters respectively.

Download Problem With | Similar / Alternative Online Storage

The answer is already here. You see, I had a problem with my widget since last 3 weeks. My website visitors couldn't download any file from the widget including me.

So, after I sent an email to support people, I've been told that my allocated 10GB bandwidth limit has been exceeded. It surprised me, I wish I could see a log file of the downloading in my widget.

My email to technical support.

Their ( email to me. So it seems that I got to wait for the 'bandwidth to be recharged' on the end of every month? Haha! Similar/Alternative ( Free Online Storage )
If you google around the internet, you will stumble on these websites:-
  1. Mediamax aka Streamload -
  2. Omnidrive -
  3. XDrive -
  4. eSnips -
  5. AllMyData -
  6. -
But to be honest, none of them suits me. Because widget is totally awesome! The Omnidrive is still in beta, I think they have a widget as well. Widget No more! Hail To - updated
Why did I dropped the widget? Because it's running out of bandwidth. Why I switched to It's because of its simpleness and awesomeness. No widget and that's fine to me.
